It turns out that one cannot outgrow being a fangirl. Or at least, *I* couldn't outgrow it. I only gain new fandoms and cycle back through my older ones as time passes.

I freakin' miss writing fanfiction. It's been months since the last time I wrote one.

New ideas keep flying around in my head, but none of them stay still long enough for me to write the story. I've been jotting down the ideas in an attempt to keep up.

How do I kickstart the writing again?! ::pokes at list of fic ideas::

Like the subject says, I'm in between fandoms at the moment. I mean, obviously I love lots of fandoms. I still like the Merlin series. But I don't feel like actively seeking fan stuff on anything. NCIS the musical
Reaching new heights in NCIS obsession, I've loaded my mp3 player with only songs from the NCIS soundtracks, volumes 1 and 2. (My baby brother is disappointed that I've moved the anime and Arashi song files back to the computer hard drive.)

On the way home from the mall this afternoon, I saw an invitation sign for a ministry that weirded me out. It said:

PREPARE TO MEET YOUR GOD

It makes sense literally, but it also sounds too close to "Prepare to meet your Maker!" which is more threatening than inviting, really. XD

This needs to be written down because I am crazy, and also on the brink of switching to another fandom obsession...Nearly three months ago, when I first arrived in Sydney, I was addicted to the Smallville pairing of Chloe Sullivan and Oliver Queen. At the mall last weekend, I came across a couple who were dressed in matching T-shirts. The man's T-shirt said:

"I <3 MY WIFE"

And the woman's T-shirt said:

"I <3 MY HUSBAND"

But the shirts had the actual drawing of a red heart rather than the <3 symbol. :P
