This needs to be written down because I am crazy, and also on the brink of switching to another fandom obsession...
Nearly three months ago, when I first arrived in Sydney, I was addicted to the Smallville pairing of Chloe Sullivan and Oliver Queen. I had brought that addiction with me from back home. Because of it, the first things that I borrowed from the Customs House library was a DVD of Smallville season 7 (it was the only season on shelf, so I took it even though Ollie was in just one episode), and several DC graphic novels.
I breezed through the DVDs in about a week. Needing more video entertainment, I borrowed the only other interesting TV series I found on shelf, the 3rd season of Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. I'd enjoyed the series when I was a kid, and watching it again I remembered how utterly cute this series was. And how utterly cute Dean Cain was. (And my crush on Dean Cain merits
another post.)
So Chlollie got shelved, and I was officially hooked on Lois and Clark. First I needed to watch the show's other three seasons, which I was very lucky to find in a DVD rental shop. After finishing them, naturally what came next was... reading fanfiction. For over a month, most of my online hours were spent reading Lois and Clark fanfics at
lcfanfic.com. Sometimes I read until the wee hours of the morning. My favorites were the so-called "revelation" stories, wherein one way or another Lois finally finds out that Clark is Superman.
I'd still been keeping an eye out for Smallville, though, so I was able to snag Season 6 around two weeks ago. After watching it, my attention became partially transferred to Chlollie, though majority of my fic reading was still centered on Lois and Clark.
But this week, I've noticed my interest in Lois and Clark waning (possibly because I'd already read all the fics that I'd found interesting on the site). I'm reading a lot of Chlollie again, a bit of Star Wars, and even some NCIS (Tony/Ziva).
I wonder what will be next...
