I Am Not Wrong

Oct 29, 2008 19:04

I am not wrong because I believe in a woman's right to choose.

I am not wrong because I believe that the past 8 years have not been the best years for this country.

I am not wrong because I believe in equal pay for equal work.

I am not wrong because I believe strongly that we should support the people in our country. Not everyone has the same opportunities because of things that they cannot control. When we can help, we should.

I am not wrong because I interpret my spirituality in a different way.

I am not wrong because I choose to Vote for Change.

Just like others are not wrong because of their beliefs. The beauty of this country is in the freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of expression. I should not feel silenced by those that believe differently than me - I should feel encouraged that I live in a country where it's okay that they do. I should feel excited to live in a country where I have the awesome responsibility of voting. I should feel honored to be educated and to make my vote known.

I am not wrong.
