Twikini

So, I'm not a product review blogger or anything like that. I actually rarely ever hype up a product on my blog - and I'm not planning to start any time soon. However!

So, for work, we're required to have a Motorola Q9C phone that runs Windows Mobile (6, I think). The phone itself is a piece (but that's unimportant right now), but since I joined twitter, I've been trying to find good apps for my phone. I tried apps that didn't notify me of direct messages, that were loud and annoying when getting new tweets, that just weren't visually interesting.

Then, I stumbled on Twikini via a post from another person I follow. I downloaded it to my phone, and what do you know, it actually worked, wasn't too noisy, even had a separate list for direct messages. Woot. You can also have different themes - I'm a bright and happy person, so I like Summertime:

So, I was checking it last night, and I got a message about paying for Twikini. I was actually kind of pissed at first, because I hadn't remembered seeing anything about paying for the software. Turns out that while I was wrong (you can purchase it for $4.95, which isn't bad at all), I could also help to support Twikini by publishing a blog post talking about it and get it for free. I don't have to say anything specific (in fact, I can't copy and paste text from their website), I don't have to be positive, I don't have to give a review. I just have to get the word out. I'm more than happy to do that!
