Oh, FFXII. You had so much promise. But you were too big and winding, the main character was a useless lump by the time of Raithwell's tomb, and I really didn't hate Vayne as much as I wanted to. Two way tie. The first visit to the Black Mage Village was unpleasant. It was just...uncomfortable then, and it still is. Day 05 - Your favorite Final Fantasy City/Town

This was a surprisingly tough call, hence why  I had to skip a day. Eventually, I settled on Besaid from FFX. In both FFX and FFX-2, it was generally such a peaceful and safe place.
