How you know you have made a new friend? When you meet someone for only the second time ever and end up talking to them for 7 and a half hours about food, disability and everything else under the sun. So all the new first years are here, and Manchester is no longer the nice quiet place it once was. I have been amused by the numbers of people with their parents in supermarkets, knowing full well that in two weeks when the sensible food has run out they will revert to the cave man routine of eating any old crap. So I cooked quite a good lunch today it consisted of a simple pasta dish really. I just lightly fried some red pepper, bacon and leek. Then added peas and red pesto then mixed it with cooked pasta. Very simple yet very delicious.

Note to self, do not buy tomato sausages from the bull ring market again. They do not taste great, and have little to offer ( Read more... )
