Good ol' days
I am going to update more often. Starting tomorrow.
Okay okay, since you asked, today Ron and I didn't have work so we slept in, no alarms, and we got sandwiches at Jerry Gerbils, drove around a bit, and went to see "Arthur" at Edward's. I thought the movie was delightful and had actors in it that I liked. I love Russell Brand and his vocabulary and honesty and I like Greta Gerwig from Greenberg and Helen Mirren is just so nice to watch and so pretty. Ron and I took a walk with Charlie the beloved Boston Terrier and then I went to my mom's house.
We watched Behind the Scenes of the Oprah show and then the new Judds show came on, 2 hour series premiere. I knew if I watched 30 seconds of it I'd be sucked in for the whole two hours, and I did and I was. My momma went through a country phase when I was younger and as a result we saw the Judds live and even though I probably hadn't heard one of their songs in 18 years I still knew "Grandpa" when I heard the first little bit of it. So we watched that show together and watched a bit of the Killing. Frankly, watching anything on AMC makes me miss Mad Men.
Eventually I went back to my place and that's where I am now. I need to take this face mask off and go to sleep. When I sleep alone I usually fall asleep watching 30 Rock. I see no reason to do something different tonight.
Tomorrow I work 9-4 and Tuesday I work 3:30-10. I have Wednesday and Thursday off but I'll try to pick up a shift. Maybe I can post a little sign at the time clock. I'll do that tomorrow. I also need to pay my credit card bill.
I'm frustrated because the payment is going to be late because 1) I thought I signed up for an auto pay thing and apparently I did not and 2) when I called customer service on Saturday (the day the bill was due) to get my username (which I can never remember) they were CLOSED. So I'm hoping the punishment is just a late fee and not an interest rate hike because I really can't deal with that right now and my mom would be upset with me. From this situation I have learned to 1) remember my user name 2) don't wait til the last day to pay your bill and 3) go back in time and don't get a credit card and don't share it with someone.
I will try to write again tomorrow, even if nothing happens, if only to just get my brain fired up ever so slightly. The click clack is a nice sound anyway.
