Successfully completed both my assignment and the last day of work before the summer break. Next assignment would be due on 5th August, but the deadline has been pushed back by a week, so there should be plenty of time to prepare that one. Had my job 'interview' on Saturday. Turns out the job isn't actually proofreading at all (which might be a good thing since I know hardly anything about physics). Basically, the author is looking for someone who is good at the computer and knows their way around OCR.
