Mere dilemma....

SO anyone who knows me knows that I tend to be 'thrifty'.
I LOVE a good deal, and if that means purchasing something a year in advance... then so-be-it.

But by being pro-active I have placed myself in a bit of a dilemma.

You see, after Christmas is when I purchase my wrapping paper, bows and cards for the next year. ONLY if I can save 60% or more, ( Read more... )

I think if you have the time to make them and it's something YOU enjoy doing, then make them. Or, you could do what I do, and only make them for a select handful of people (oh no, the secret's out) and send the box cards to the people you feel obligated to send cards to but don't really care what they think of them. Or, you could do the other thing I do, and make a lot of the same card and send them out, it's easier to make in bulk ( ... )

I can't believe I made the select handful of people who got hand made cards!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all the advice... all good ideas... I have started making some cards...

But I am THRILLED to know that not everyone got a handmade card!!!!!

Hey... I don't know you... and I'm not really a "card person". But, I do tend to notice home-made cards over the standard often tacky multi-pack cards.

Jean's are nice. My dad has always made a drawing and then had a printer do them up and then he colours them. He's a freak.

Thanks... I have started making the cards... two days in... 50 images stamped, only 20 water colored... UGH!!!!
Next year I will get an image I don't have to color :) Your dad sounds great! LOL
