Mere dilemma....

SO anyone who knows me knows that I tend to be 'thrifty'.
I LOVE a good deal, and if that means purchasing something a year in advance... then so-be-it.

But by being pro-active I have placed myself in a bit of a dilemma.

You see, after Christmas is when I purchase my wrapping paper, bows and cards for the next year. ONLY if I can save 60% or more, and usually only if it hits 75% off. This has worked well for me for quite some time... until this year.

You see, I am currently looking at 6 un-opened boxes of Christmas cards, and 3 opened boxes!!!! I can not remember who I sent what to, and am afraid that people might recognize the card I send as the card I sent last year. Not only that, I don't even like the cards anymore :( I much prefer the look of home-made cards!!!

Plus, last year Jean sent out home-made cards (thanks for remembering me!), and I treasured it. It looked so nice next to the other cards on my walls. I want MY cards to look like that. I have an office full of stamps, paper, envelopes, and ink. The only thing holding me back is the boxed cards I have. If I don't use them, then I wasted money and have stored them for more than a year in the process (since this stock has accumulated over the course of several years).

BUT... is it a waste if I could find someone who could use them? OR... I could sell them on usedwinnipeg.com for half the price on the back of the box, and therefore make some money? Tee hee.

What would YOU do?

Do you think other people appreciate hand-made cards, or do you think they even notice?

Am I just being vane by wanting people to like my card?

UGH!!!!! I think I am complicating this a little too much :P
