Why This Must Be Read: There are some fanfics you read and they stay with you forever. This is one of those stories. I read this probably close to a decade ago and it was at the time a never-to-be-finished WIP. I went hunting for the link to share it here and to my delight it is now finished! However, its SO damn good I was going to recc it as a non-finished WIP.
This AU takes place in a world where vampires rule the world and humans are slaves. The vampires maintain their reign on the planet via a ritual sacrifice of a young girl every year - and this year that sacrifice is Buffy Summers. dun dun dun.
It is a very dark, very violent story and certainly not for the faint of heart, but one of my absolute favourites - and I'm super excited to reread the whole thing *with* an ending this time!
