Why This Must Be Read: This is the type of story that makes me want to write academic papers about it. It’s so perfect on so many different levels and its SO ridiculously smart about it I almost don’t know what to do with it. It’s an odd story and the author deliberately makes you uncomfortable (no weird kinks though) but then at the end there’s this beautiful about face that makes everything you’ve just read so damn perfect. Note: you do not need to read the other linked stories in the series to read this.
