Why This Must Be Read: FAKE. DATING. MY WEAKNESS. This is a modern AU wherein Dom tries to get Kel to take a break from studying for the bar by going on vacation with him and his family and pretending to be his girlfriend so that his grandmother won't be disappointed in his bachelor ways. This was so good. The author got Kel and Dom so right and I legitimately giggled like a schoolgirl every time Dom went shirtless and Kel appreciated the view. :P

Why This Must Be Read: 5 times someone worried unnecessarily over Kel's reputation and happiness, and one time she couldn't care less what people thought. Ugh, I love this so much. From Lady Vivienne being stone cold awesome, Lalasa's unfailing loyalty to her mistress, Raoul's pseudo-paternal worry and affection, and the rest of her friends' earnest desires to see Kel happy after all she's done, everything is so in-character and delightful and just everything I loved about these characters and their relationships with Kel.
