ahhh, my km prompt was filled by a the fantastic, wonderful anon
tomato_greens! i've only ever prompted a total of two times, so this is such a glorious surprise for me. thank you so much! *flails* ♥
prompt: One of them keeps dreaming about the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, eventually becoming convinced that they're real. Dark and terrifying, please.
Behold, He Cometh With Clouds: "Little one," says the skeleton, in a voice of a thousand voices.
not likely i'd be so lucky as to receive another fill, but this has been rattling around in my head for a while: [Gen] Arthur commits self-immolation in reality. There is only one other witness. hm, might post that when round 14 opens.
and all the Arthur/Mal fics that are suddenly showing up? resounding yes! i think A/M might be even rarer than Mal/Saito, though not Mal/Robert, for certes. feel free to correct me on the first point with fic links. *grin* (ooh, lookit the km's
A/M log.)

my mom sent me an email, telling me my blood work results (from when i was on vacation in the States). apparently, everything's okay except my thyroid. i'm lacking quite a bit in iodine, so....i guess that means more seaweed. didn't really notice anything different, since i pretty much always eat like a bird and sleep like a sloth. huh.
anyway. ffff- i'm so relieved that the director of the Cali office finally emailed me back. i emailed twice asking for more details and left messages on his answering machine, and was seriously beginning to think that he rescinded the job offer for ~mysterious reasons. (at least, i hope that's not what's going to happen when i call him tomorrow.) well, even if that doesn't pan out, there are more opportunities within the biz group i'm currently in -- my previous boss from when i was a part of the biz program management (BPM) team keeps giving me hugs and asking when i can transfer over to the PM team in the services unit. my mentor is the head of that unit, so transferring wouldn't pose any problems. it's profitable (unlike certain other units) and runs a different kind of biz model, so there's no doubt i'd learn a wealth of new skills/information and interface with a lot more clients. my colleague in San Diego also just alerted me to another job opp in Cali (Irvine) with a totally different company -- it's much, much smaller, which makes it appealing in some ways. and it already does a lot of biz with my company, so that might give me an edge over other candidates. decisions, decisions.
bah, enough work blather. i saw the following photo while randomly flipping through a Chinese magazine today. after analyzing the profound poem
song lyrics therein for all of three seconds, i concluded that the magazine is expressing a need for more jailbait!fic. \O/
