I know that this chapter was very short, but since I'm so anal about organization and stuff, I didn't want to combine church stuff with reception stuff. I mean, yes, they intertwine plenty, thematically, but I have plenty of stuff to cover at the reception on my outline - probably at least two or more chapters worth. But Logan and Veronica will talk at the reception - I can promise that much at least. ;)
I really appreicated the way that Logan and Veronica were able to dismiss that issue with that couple, but still be comfortable with each.It was awkward between them for different reasons, but - again - Logan's will be covered in time. Veronica's are already rather apparent, especially since I'm telling the story from her POV at the moment, but Logan's may not quite be what you'd expect. Or maybe it is, I don't know. I mean, they have reached a comfort level with each other, to some extent, but at the same time, I don't expect either of them to be willing to talk about anything and everything at any time at this point in their reestablished friendship. I'd say probably eventually, but I think we're both aware of how Veronica occasionally feels a need to run from the truth.

As for what Nick looks like - I haven't definitively decided yet, but I'm leaning towards making him look like the Passions character that I am loosely basing his characterization on. Just, more grown up and hotter. ;) So the answer? Bruce Michael Hall, but not as geeked out as he was on Pash itself (if you ever watched it). I'll have to see if I can find a good picture (aka not a beefcake picture since Nick isn't going to be appearing like that in this story too much), and then I can post that up with the next chapter. :)

I still have a burning need to know why Logan didn't keep in touch with Veronica. And I'm really sad that Logan has a daughter. I know that sounds weird, but I generally never like it when either one of them has kids with someone else. Who is Esperanza's mother?

The reason why Logan didn't keep in touch with Veronica has a few layers. Some will be revealed when they talk at the reception (so the next chapter or so), and others will be revealed later. Actually, Jensen is who I had in mind for the likely one-time appearance of Noah Spencer. My friend Liz and I have written our fair share of fanfic about original characters who we've modeled after Jensen, so I thought it might be nice to give her a Jensen look-alike as a "husband" in this fanfic.
Nick, Veronica's boyfriend, is more or less modeled after Bruce Michael Hall.

Details about Esperanza's mother (and her involvement with Logan) will be forthcoming in the next chapter or two. Of course, Logan isn't one to bear his soul willingly, so additional details that he may have neglected to mention might appear much later in the story. This thing is looking like it's going to be 10+ chapters, but I hope you enjoy the ride anyhow. :)
