Like most good Japanese, Momoko had gone home for Bon. Friday had been spent at the cemetery tending to the graves of relatives and then attending the local bon odori in the evening.

Saturday, however, was another story. Or rather lots of stories, because on Saturday our heroine had permission to return to Tokyo City for Comiket!

The weather was fine, mid-60s with no rain and a slight breeze. Before Samantha even had a chance to pass along the last message from Julian, Ulrich and Kirt were taking the group's personal and essential supplies off the wagon again. Momoko joined them and within minutes they were pulling it and what was left of the supplies back into town.
