The room is large and brightly coloured. Half of the room is left as a slightly elevated stage area, the wall a screen that would show the video of whatever song was chosen. The rest of the room is for seating, a very comfortable leather bench along the walls and a giant low table covered in food sitting squarely in the middle. There were also a few tablet-looking objects that chose the songs for the karaoke machine.

More specifically, to a Host Club.
A Japanese tradition, a host club was an upscale bar staffed solely by cute and flirty men, where women could go and drink and be listened to and be treated like they were the most precious things on earth. As long as they bought drinks.
Momoko had been dying to try one forever!
"So, from what I understand, we get a table and then a bunch of the hosts come over and introduce themselves and we can flirt and have fun and buy them drinks and stuff, and then at the end of the night we can pick our favourites and if we come back they'll be our designated hosts!" Momoko explained, bouncing as she walked backwards towards the brightly lit building with photos of handsome young men covering the walls.
