"Many believe flamenco to be the invention of the gypsies, and although they have been the main protagonists of the art, they are not its sole creators," Momoko
read from her text. "Numerous bands of gypsies descending on the small villages and towns, bringing with them their exciting, seductive music- flamenco."
...
"Argh." She dropped her head to her desk. "I can't believe I have to have a written test in a dance class!"
Apparently the professor believed that to truly understand dance, a person had to truly understand it. So while the classes were practicals, at the end of every lesson the students were given texts and assignments regarding the history and culture of the style they were learning.
What had started as a class she was hoping to surprise Jaime with? had ended up being the class that meant she'd had to cancel on three of their date nights to either study or make it to late night lessons. "Mooooshii. I wanna go out! I want to really dance, not read about it or practice counting!"
Moshi obviously cared, the way he stretched as he slept.
