Tuesday evening, Momoko's place, El Paso

"Why are you still here, young lady?"

Momoko sighed and set the kettle back on the burner. "Because I'm not going anywhere while you're sick?" Grabbing the cup of tea, she took hold of Mrs Wilson's arm and walked the older woman back to her room.

"It's just a cold. I can take care of myself." Mrs Wilson sneezed into her kleenex, stumbling slightly as they passed the door to the sitting room. Where the big screen TV was. "Been doing it for thirty years."

"It's the flu," Momoko reminded her, nudging towards the bed. "And your doctor said you have to stay in bed and take it easy or you can get worse."

"Bah. What does he know." Mrs Wilson dabbed at her nose, willingly climbing into bed despite her verbal protests. Which was a little worrying to Momoko, but not as much as it had been when she'd found her landlady passed out on the kitchen floor yesterday.

She fluffed the pillows as Mrs Wilson sat back. "He knows you should have gotten your flu shot."

"Bah." Whatever else Mrs Wilson was going to say was drowned out in a round of coughing. Momoko waited until she as done before handing her the cup of tea.

"Totally bah," Momoko agreed and reached for the medicine she'd picked up on the way back from the clinic. Hopefully there wouldn't be much of an argument this dose... maybe if she promised to move the TV in?

[Can be open for phone calls, sure]
