Saturday, Phoenix General Hospital, Phoenix Arizona, Leda's world
Momoko had lots of pull in Faerie and even in Bordertown she knew some people... but the best she could get in the Phoenix hospital was a peek in the room Leda was in. At least Momoko didn't have to worry about security?
After several attempts to sneak into Leda's room had been stopped by the nursing staff (and once by the security staff... Those guys were well trained; who ever looked in the water cooler?!) Momoko had settled for a chair in one of the family waiting rooms, where she was going over the notes and reports from Sai and Strider.
Why? Momoko couldn't say. She wasn't convinced it was an attempt on Leda's life. Not really. But on the other hand her friend hadn't mentioned being sick when they'd talked earlier and Leda wasn't stupid; if she'd been sick, she wouldn't have made it worse by wandering about and totally wouldn't have exposed other people to it!
So, yes. Since Momoko couldn't talk to Leda and ask what happened, she was stuck with trying to settle her mind with the reports.
