I wonder if Eden knows the Petrellis have powers. She's got to, right? I mean, they're high up in the company. But her backstory indicates she doesn't know much about the Company

To be fair, that subway is barely rocking. It's not safe to ride one without hands, but it can be done (at times).
I remember being surprised that Nathan was either forming or trying to form some kind of honest realtionship (quick though he knew it would be). He can definitely live with any regrets and he expects anyone he's with to do the same and not pester him after. He's still disgustingly shallow that I wouldn't go near him. Typical guy - the girl goes from "I can't, thanks" to "let me put on a show for you and do all the work" and he doesn't bat an eye.
On the subway: "Don't give your heart to just anyone." Ha!
Where did Claire learn to drive a stick shift? Her family is shown having a minivan and Noah always drives an automatic. What she did to Brody was perfect.
I wonder how long Peter is/was stranded in that subway car without time moving. Given how unsettled he is, I have the impression it's quite a while. I think in my fanon, I'll say it was subjective minutes, maybe a half hour. Long enough to freak out.
Okay, well, there we are! You know, I might take some disks with me on the trip to watch as we drive down or back.
I think it's the same apartment as later seasons (they re-use the crap out of sets), but the furniture and layout is way off. By S4, I think he's sleeping on a mattress on the floor, or something Spartan like that. But yeah, everything else you said - I agree, especially the 'huge focal point' part. :) It's a bachelor pad and one that looks like it gets used frequently. And not for bros, parties, gaming, TV watching, or friends hanging out. Now maybe it's all wishful thinking, but I think he got laid a lot. As contrast, there is NOTHING about Sylar's apartment that speaks to me of interest in sex. Sylar and Elle having their date on the fucking FLOOR is emblematic of it - there is nowhere in his apartment that is comfortable and intimate to have someone else be

Peter’s already wearing those gym shorts when he gets out of bed, whether by accident of photography or clumsy intention. I don’t know why he’d be dressed already besides the fact that he was awake before her (unless he intended to fix breakfast or something, or he already got up and did something), but he lays in bed with her and acts cuddly

Some guys like to sleep with their junk covered (ie, get up after sex and put some shorts on). I think it's more common that they let it all hang out. I give Peter some mixed up issues with being observed/not observed, and although I have him sleep naked from time to time, he usually doesn't sleep naked with someone else.

I think that's Simone's shirt from later.
Glad to know I wasn't off-base about the ashes.
