I GOT A JOB TODAY!!!!!!*
I'll be working as a reporter for my school's newspaper. I went in for an interview and walked out with a job! Well, technically, they put all their paid staff writers "on trial" for the first two issues/weeks to see if they can handle it. Papers are cropping up again in my little English major life, but I swear I can handle it!
Oh, and I was totally wearing what I now call my "Sherlock jacket" when this happened. It's a long, black boiled-wool coat that never looked badass until this morning. I need to wear that thing more often.
Also, because of the interview, I was inadvertently late for my Geology class, but I showed up in time to hear my professor say "reverse the polarity" unironically several times. He was talking about how the Earth's poles flip every 500,000 years and how that's reflected in the igneous rock surrounding oceanic ridges, but I got excited anyway.
