Oh my God, THE ELECTION IS OVER!!! Yes, the GOP took over the House of Representatives, but I'm just really glad the whole ridiculous thing is done with. NO MORE ROY BLUNT ADS!!! Seriously, that's worth celebrating no matter what party you support.

In the TV meme, I said "Victory of the Daleks," but I've changed my mind since then.
PLANET OF THE DEAD
This episode was pointless filler, and we learn nothing of any arc-related relevance until the last five minutes. "The Waters of Mars" was much better because it at least explored some ethical issues and the Doctor's sanity slippage; it also had some interesting, sympathetic minor characters, as well as the wonderfully formidable Adelaide Brook. This episode had...a meandering journey through a desert, flying sting ray aliens, paper-thin supporting players and Lady Christina the Brat. The only ones I cared about were the two bug people. It was nice to meet a couple of benevolent non-humanoid aliens. And then they died. I did want to like this episode, but I didn't.
