Another lazy day

Today started off with matzoh brie. (sp?). It was very good considering I never made it before. It's a good thing my MOM sent me the matzoh in the mail and my MOM told me how to make it. My MOM sure is swell. ;]

A little bit later Ky and J came by with a few set dressings for the film shoot tomorrow. It was a lot more low-key than when Doto brought his set dressings. Doto brought $700 worth of chatchkes. J brought a lamp. Hehe. I also got a random $50 from Vic from that day a month or so ago when I helped him on a project. I'd forgotten about it, and I told him like 3 times he really didn't need to pay me, but he insisted. So that was a nice surprise.

Other highlights included looking for "Firefly" icons, making pot roast for dinner and watching "Intervention" tonight, with my name finally on the credits. It was such a surreal feeling, watching a TV show broadcast on TV, real live TV, and my name was there. I had all these weird flashbacks to high school and making the video yearbook, to my freshmen year at IC and I made my first film, then moving up and directing "Frequency" and eventually getting to where I am now. I'm very much still at the bottom of the ladder. But I think I can officially say that I'm on the ladder.

I also got a surprise phone call from Brian. We had a nice 40 minute conversation about nothing in particular. We both have strained muscles from something, so we didn't hang out. But when we hung up, he said to call him, so I think it's safe to assume he wants to go out again. I'm not entirely opposed to the idea.

intervention, geek!, film shoot
