Blast from the past. My mom likes to talk about how at a young age I got to see one of the "Oh, God" movies with George Burns and forever more would point if I saw him in something and go, "It's God!" I don't really remember this and it certainly would cause weirdness in one of my favorite movies as a kid that I do remember, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band" (yes, I know it's awful. No, I don't care. So phhhhhhhbbbbt!)
Anyway, on a whim I'd tossed the first "Oh, God" film on my netflix list and it managed to make it's way up to the top. I ended up watching it today, was moderately amused though a bit sad to think that if anyone tried to make such a movie these days they'd be immediately picketed and there'd be all this awful media coverage.
Methinks America needs to lighten up.
Anyway, not much else to say...friend is stopping by in a bit to do dinner/hang out since I haven't seen him in ages and ages so I figured I'd kill a bit of time. The rest of x-mas was fairly low key. There was far too much meat.
