It figures that I'd update this thing at like. 4 in the morning. >_> Yeeeah, anyway, moving on.
I kinda doubt that anyone's gonna read this, so if you do, please comment. It'll totally make my day, even if the comment's just yelling at me. XD
Saw Harry Potter the Sixth, was not totally disappointed. Found it amusing that Harry and Ginny are like, the same height. it wasn't an uber-great movie, but it wasn't bad. I won't mind watching it on DVD, when it comes out, but I'm not gonna take myself to the theater to watch it again like I did with Star Trek yes I know I'm a geek.
Current news: I am going to college! Like. I have classes and a schedule and shit. Still no job, and my car is a piece of shit (but I do have one!). Am getting a laptop (plus iPod touch yay loads of music to listen to!) but that still needs to be sorted out.
Sleeping in until anywhere from ten until noon is awesome. It helps me stay up until anywhere from 2 to 5 in the morning! XD My parents are Not Happy (or, well, my dad isn't), but whatever.
I have found that I get along much better with my sister when a) we don't spend much time together, b) I'm not irritated at classmates/teachers/homework/school stuff all the time, and c) she's not dating people I don't like. She has recently sworn off boys for her senior year, which I doubt she'll keep, but I think it's a good idea, considering that she wants to get into sports and a fuckton of AP classes and maybe do a play. Chances are, though, none of that will affect me much, since I'll be going to ~*~college~*~ and won't really get a chance to interact with The Boyfriend.
Lately, I've been spending my days in true Slacker Kid style, getting up late, reading fanfic most of the day, writing fanfic most of the night, sleeping 8-10 hours. Naruto has recently gone OMNOM to my brain, so maybehopefully I'll start bugging people posting about that, instead of just stalking other people's LJs and reading their reactions. And their fic. I like LJ fandom so much because if I like someone's Thoughts On Naruto Chapter #Whatever, chances are I like their fic (and vice versa), and it's all in the same place.
Speaking of Naruto fic, I have like, five different fic 'verses that are all going WRITE ME WRITE ME. I have no idea how many of them I'll keep. Unlike with KH, none of them want to be oneshots (or they'll settle for REALLY LONG oneshots); they've all got PLOT and shit. Which is fun -- I love plot, don't get me wrong -- but not so much when I'm eyeing my upcoming classes and going "...there is no way I'm getting through any of these fics before school starts." Sigh. Bad Things tend to happen to my grades when fandom and school conflict. I'll just have to make a point of putting school first from now on.
Okay, so I'm going to post this, maybe write ONE MORE THING (just a short little ficbit) and then it's to bed with me.
