While I have no desire to act as a corporate whore, I thought I might pass this along as some of the stuff at the bottom sounds pretty cool... note Two Brothers Hop Juice release party

As of now, I have five "extreme beer recipes" that have been rolling about in my head.
1) Smoked hefeweizen (like bananas foster in a bottle - actually tried this one, yum! 2) guajillo-chocolate-vanilla-cinnamon (mexican hot chocolate) stout 3) mesquite-bean porter (sweet-earthy-tamarind taste) 4) coconut-hefeweizen (like Malibu) 5) spearmint stout (chocolate and mint go well together)
Personally, I am most interested in #1 and #3, but have no problem brewing whatever the mystic brewers agree upon.

you know me, I'm always up for tropical type stuff. And my original though for a beer was peppermint, so that would be good too.
But I do think it should be Rob's "turn" first. I think it's really important for at a minimum each of the Founders (Rob, why do I suddenly feel like I'm on DS9) to have their own beer. DARK = James, Spiced Away = Me, I'm not sure if you'd say you had yours... though I think we would all agree that anything banana would be yours if you wanted to do #1
I'd also like to redo mine, as mine was one of the last sour ones. Actually I know both Rob and I think that all of the ones that we did that were funky should be redone, but especially Raspberry Heaven since that was a kit. Though, while we have at least a small amount of cool weather left, we might be able to hold off on that until summer really hits? Thoughts?
Mother's Day usually ends up being a trip to a nice restaurant. So even if I end up doing that, I'm only out 3 hours max and can contribute sometime during the day (since brewing often goes for 7 hours).
Just curious -- were you looking for ALL EVENTS from me? Cause I was just hunting for events that we might be able to get our homebrews sampled at. I can always broaden the search. Cause an All Events List would definitely be appropriately longer, given the year.
also... brew date? I've already received an email from someone we met at DLD asking about it.

Everyone else, what is your availability?
Me = not this weekend.

have we decided what we're going to brew? anyone? everyone?
I would vote Raspberry Heaven and something new.

I was either thinking a Cherry Wheat with Tuaca, or going the almond route maybe with some Amaretto (and Italian Cherry Almond Wheat, I guess).
But if that's not feasible, I can always wait.
