A good re-read was in order
The reason why I chose sociology as a major over say, anything useful....
Back-to-back reading of Brave New World and 1984.
In both, the sociologists were the most powerful people in the world. Only now do I understand how deluded I was! Oh, the shame!

The news came back regarding my car today. I managed to blow a head-gasket - which wikipedia tells me is kinda important or something. Now, I have some 48 hours to buy a new car and figure out my finances so as to allow such a purchase without any sort of trade-in. Blah. -

Okay, all you numbers-type people out there. I'm not a physicist... quite obviously. Otherwise, I would have gotten better math grades and would not be asking the following question:
