I have so much squee for this one: Autumn Days That Make You Feel Sad, by starletfallen. A short but sweet JE fix-it story that has everything going for it: beautiful writing, a lovely and poignant take on the Doctor from Donna's point of view, and a twist at the end that's just a little bit ambiguous, but full of hope.

Today I bring you Tapestry, by calapine. This one's for all the Doctor/River shippers out there: a poetic and evocative series of snapshots that tackle the timey-wimey and, though each scene isn't particularly long, all of it hints at something deeper and rounder and incredibly rich. All that, and a little bit of humor to boot. I loved this one.

The muses have gone off strike! ::cheers:: Which means that I will (hopefully) be posting my Forest of the Dead reaction fic sometime later tonight. Woot! I'd like to get it up before Midnight airs tomorrow and the plot bunnies strike again... Only this time, hopefully not in the sense of picket lines.
