Welcome to all!
Hello everyone and welcome back to Hogwarts! I'm sure I'm as happy to see all of you again as you are to see me! I was so terribly busy this summer, what with getting introduced to all sorts of lovely people at the Ministry, that these journals must have simply slipped my mind. Still, what's done is done, and I hope I shall get to know everyone here just a little bit better!
Unfortunately, it seems that not everyone in my house is willing to be quite as welcoming. Let me then be the FIRST from my house to say that not all of us should be judged for a few "black marks" on the record, so to speak!
I must say also that I am quite looking forward to this duel. Gilderoy is always so dreadfully well-dressed, and I can hardly wait to see what hexes both sides come up with! (Gilderoy, if you are in need of some last-minute inspiration, I have a few delightful treats up my sleeve, and I should be more than happy to share them with you.)
Oh, this new school year promises to be so much fun, especially with all of the free time I'll have! I think I'll spend the evening putting up the decorations I got this summer - there's a whole set of posters of cute little kitties dressed up in baby clothes, and they even purr "mummy" to me! Maybe I'll go right now and put them up while Narcissa's out so I won't be in her way.
