Why in the world is the word "egaltarian" and not "equaltarian" when the word deals specifically with the concept of equality and is also derived from the same Latin word that "equality" is derived from. Discuss.

edit: So voiceboxx showed me this thing called a "dictionary". It has like information and is totally bitchin', but that's another story. Anyway ( Read more... )

Double quotes, unless they're inside of a quotation, then they get single. Now here's where it gets interesting. If the words are in a quotation that's inside another quotation, then they get double quotes again."

Ex. Voiceboxx said, "The word 'egalitarian' is actually derived from French."

"Voiceboxx said, 'The word "egalitarian" is actually derived from French,'" quoted Jeff.
