[14] Accidental Video | Meriken and Iceland
((ooc: Red is Meriken, Blue is Iceland. Takes place after this beast of a thread.
It's action with Iceland, video with everyone else, but you can feel free to hear her screaming and poke your head inside to see them.))
--'m a hero! I can totally do this! Don't think otherwise!
[A hand moved out of the way of the screen, and past the view of a coffee mug, you should be able to make out the figures of Meriken and Iceland, sitting in the bedroom with their eyes focused on a game nearly off-screen. It's still visible to viewers, though, even if just a little, and by the start-up screen, one might be able to recognize a very creepy horror game.
You might also notice that Meriken can't stop fidgeting.]
Have you ever played this before?
[ Other residents of Wonderland may hear Iceland said something that sounds like, "Sure, and I can cross the Atlantic Ocean in a day" or something along that line in the background. ]
Of course. I played it all the time with Norway and Finland.
[ Then he goes back to sipping his coffee, still staring at the screen intently while occasionally glancing at Meriken. ]
Well, don't spoil it for me! I haven't played this before!
[She doesn't move her eyes from the screen as the game starts. And sure, she goes for maybe a minute or so before the first monster appears. And that's when it gets loud. She jumps nearly three feet in the air and starts slamming at her controller, somehow performing quite skilled moves on the game while screaming.]
HOLY SHIT!! ICE, WHAT ARE THOSE?!?! THOSE AREN'T-- OH MY GOD IT'S ON ME!! AHHH! GET IT OFF!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING, ICE!?!
[He watched her and actually counting mentally. Just how many seconds it'll take for her to lose the game? His prediction is one minute, but apparently he was wrong. When she leaps and starts screaming he fell down his chair and kind of like. Spits his coffee. But he quickly clamped a hand over his mouth and turned away from the camera. If he didn't turn back for like five minutes, it's because he was busy laughing quietly like a boss. Then, turning around, in a calm tone: ]
You lose the bet.
[She did not seem to move her eyes from the screen. Instead, she twitched away from it, gripping the controller with all her might, and screaming some more while trembling closer to Iceland.]
I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE FUCKING BET! What did we even bet, anyway-- OH SHIT THERE'S ANOTHER ONE!! [Cue some button smashing before she finishes that, then drops the controller and starts shaking Iceland.]
THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!!!!
