[The device clicks on to a nice view of the beach. America ends up obstructing it very shortly, and you see his moderately scrawny self in patriotic swim trunks and.. that's about it. Ignore the various scars on his stomach and whatnot, as they come with being a nation. Anyway, he still has his glasses on, and he grins widely, flashing a thumbs up at the camera.]
It's my birthday today! Hehehe! Of course, you all knew that, as you've been celebrating it all day! But even so, the best part of today is.. when it gets dark, of course! [He raises his eyes and looks upward for a moment before he glances off screen and sets the device down.] Hey! Be careful with that! [And he darts out of view once more.]
[There's the sound of some laughing and loud crackling as a spark flies across the view of the camera.]
I know what I'm doing! And hey, gimme that! [she moves over to the camera, donning a very patriotic bikini. Her hair is actually tied into a sort of side ponytail, since she's been working with fireworks. As she grins down at it, she jabs a thumb at herself.] It's my birthday too, you know! But hell yeah, the best thing is the fireworks! I've been working on perfecting this part for a while now, y'know!!
Yeah, but I think they're supposed to launch upward... [Some hushed debating goes on, and it seems like they forget about the device recording for a while so enjoy the view of the beach. Suddenly America comes back on and flashes another grin.]
So, yeah. Fireworks! Since it's both of our birthdays, that means we gotta see twice as many fireworks! I wanna see the sky exploding with reds, whites, and blues! Oh, and hamburgers. I'll grill some up, too! Beach parties are the best!
[Meriken shoves her way over, hanging off of America's arm in order to get a good share of her face on camera, too. Move brother-self, I need my camera time.] Don't forget the beer!! You guys are all gonna come watch, right?! We'll accept presents now, if you didn't get them to us!! Haha!
