My organic starter mix is aliiiiiive! I was putting it into the trays and out popped a spider and then later on, a worm. I figure this is a good sign regarding the quality of my not-dirt if there are things happily living in it. I put the worm into the landlord's garden but left the spider to fend for herself.
I also threw some of the baby onions into the pots I used last summer for tomatoes. We'll see how happens.
My hands got satisfyingly dirty. :)

Anthony and I walked up to where we saw the abandoned pots by the path and took what I think we needed. There was still a decent sized pile when we left. Anyone in North Van need some free cheap pots and starter trays? I'll tell you where.

I'm thinking of picking up a cheap but useable accoustic violin, it's been a long time since I attempted to play and it might be fun to work on it again. But I don't really feel like working with the electric. This is probably not going to happen soon.

I get to see Steph tomorrow!

cunning plans, stephanie gets her own tag, accomplishing stuff, life is good, violin, things i do, gardening, diy
