1627 - "Luke, you really gotta stop trying to be my friend, or I'm gonna have to kill you."
I got some packs of seeds today and also discovered a cache of abandoned plastic pots which will be raided by me tomorrow. Which is good because I really didn't want to pay for those things.
I got:
Thai Dragon peppers
Nantes Coreless carrots
Early Wonder Tall Top Beets
Red Russian kale
Palladio shelling peas
Cascadia snap peas
baby white onions
All of the above except for the kale will hopefully be in dirt by the end of the week. I'm saving kale planting until the end of summer. The peppers won't be released outside at all since our climate is not at all ideal for peppers and may not even do that well indoors.
I'm planning on some tomatoes too, but I'm doing those in hanging baskets and think I might as well buy them as kits from Whole Foods since I don't have any baskets at the moment.
I'm also planning on picking up a few more vegetables, maybe some cucumbers, zucchini and other squashes.
I really love that the garden centre has a cute friendly storecat. More stores need storecats.
I've been having huge photography cravings in the past few weeks, but my extra battery and charger are still eluding me. If anyone knows where they are, would you please tell me?
I'm going to try and update my reading stuffs on Monday.
