The more things change, the more they stay the same

I can't actually remember which song I am quoting (or more likely, misquoting) in my subject title, but never mind!

The younger two have come home with news of their teachers for next year.

Two will be moving into year six and will have the same teacher One had in year six last year! Hurrah, because she is absolutely fab. Mind you, the other year six teacher is equally fab so I didn't mind a bit who he ended up with this time. :-) Also, and this is extremely good news, they've done their annual shake up of the classes and almost all of his bullying enemies are in the other class from September! He came home with an actual big smile and hope in his face. :-D

Little Three will be moving into year two and can't actually remember her new teacher's name despite spending the afternoon with her today! LOL! However I know the two year two teachers for next year and from L3's description of what she looks like I'm fairly sure it's the same lady One had when she was in year two, six years ago! I am pretty sure L3 will love her to bits.

So it's all good.

College is now drawing to an end which is really weird. We had our last but one actual teaching session today - the final one will be next Friday, after which we have a week to finish off any outstanding assignments and then we all go out for lunch/drinks at the very end! We have gelled very well together as a group and I'm going to really miss everyone :-( However it is wonderful now to look through my folder of completed assignments which looks really full and I can't believe how much I've achieved since February! And I appear to be on target to get merits in all four units, which I'm amazed by.

We have a busy weekend ahead which includes Two's birthday on Sunday. He is going to be ten, which doesn't seem even remotely possible! What happened to my chubby little baby? He's a long, lanky and leggy boy now!
