Still Snowed In
It seems like it is never going to stop snowing again. In the past twelve days I had been out of the house a grand total of two times, So this morning we slogged our way down to Woodstock, had lunch, bought some some South African sausages at Otto's, did some shopping at Safeway and slogged our way back.
I spoke to my mother Monday morning and they have had really hot weather, 34C and very little rain.
The snow measured 51/2 inches on our front porch Sunday before the boy commenced this round of shoveling.
We have pretty much decided that we are not going to try and go to his mother for Christmas. Especially given that more snow are predicted and it has been spitting some snow on and of during the day.
I have been amusing myself with working on some needlework classes that I would like to teach in the New Year.
