Snow
The whole concept of staying home as a result of bad weather is very foreign to me. I cannot recall ever staying home because of weather conditions. Occasionally during summer sport activities will get moved to late afternoon or very early in the morning if the temperature is expected to rise above 35C. However, having said that I can certainly see the reason for it. And since I am not used to snow and ice being able to stay at home is a definite plus. The boy has been home the whole week and given the predicted conditions for next week, probably the whole week as well. On the upside, we got a lot done in the house, we are way ahead of our schedule for getting everything in place. On the downside. neither one of us are getting paid if we do not work. I was at work Tuesday and today, but ti still way below my normal hours for this time of year.
