Still Alive

We survived the snow and the floods and are both still employed. So life is pretty good.

I did not really enjoy Twelfth Night,  felt kind of disconnected the whole time.  But got my dress done (mostly that is) so no complaints.

Enjoyed Ursulmas, although I did not see a lot of people.

Spoke to my mother this morning and both of my parents are in good health. The temperatures have dropped a bit, so it is not as hot as it had been for the past few weeks. My youngest cousin is getting married in May. Truly scary as he was born the day I got the news that I passed my final school exams. I was eighteen years old at the time, which means he is twenty nine now. I am officially old now!

Our current project is to put the downstairs in order and for the boy to hie himself over to the baronial armoury to get that in order.

Work still sucks, but since there appears to be no other jobs out there, I just have to deal with it.

I have been working on my embroidery research and have found some really good stuff over the past few weeks. Off course it does no good if it does not get written up/recorded, but I am working on that. Expect to see much more embroidery bits in the future.  I have some ideas for new classes, so will have to see how that develop in the future.
