BBC food channel - a chili issue

I don't really like to eat theese days, so as a substitute, I tend to watch BBC food before going to work in the mornings.  I've just noticed one thing.  All the chefs remove the seeds and whites from inside the chilis when they use them for cooking, just as I've always done.  For instance, this morning even one guy cooking some morokkan chicken took the seeds out, and said that if you want more heat to the dish, add an extra chili, don't ever use to seeds because they ruin the flavours of the flesh of the chili.  Gordon Ramsay removed the seeds, Nigella lawson did the same, and even Jamie Oliver.
Last week this guy who's cooking with stuff from his own garden actually used the seeds of his green chilis, but apparently he thought the dish wasn't edible because all he could taste was the heat.  He's the only chef I've seen who didn't bother to clean out the chilis.

So guys, do you, or don't you, clean out the seeds from the chilis before using them?
