BBC food channel - a chili issue

I don't really like to eat theese days, so as a substitute, I tend to watch BBC food before going to work in the mornings.  I've just noticed one thing.  All the chefs remove the seeds and whites from inside the chilis when they use them for cooking, just as I've always done.  For instance, this morning even one guy cooking some morokkan chicken ( Read more... )

Clean them. Otherwise you end up with a bitter dish.

I always remove the seeds. The only seeds that remain for peppers are when pickling jalepeno slices. The vinegar breaks down the heat of them so it's safe. Otherwise, a very flavorful pepper can be ruined by blistering your tongue!
