I don't think I've ever laughed harder, ever. I thought their take on the mythology was interesting.
Also, I caught the last couple of minutes of Grey's Anatomy, and
I don't even watch the show, but I LOVE Izzie. I hope that's not wrong. The "I believe" speech killed me a little. I have a feeling that's one that people are gonna remember. (Did she say "a cup of butter"? Because that's what I heard, and I'm like "um, like straight butter?") And JDM! Being adorable! For a hot second! ("A hot second" is an expression that kids at my school use. I feel it's especially appropriate in this case, because it's JDM. That was a *really* hot second.)But how are they going to have Grey's Anatomy without the Grey? Is she gonna be a ghost? That just doesn't make sense to me. That would be like--Kripke forbid--killing one of our boys.
Odd that I have more thoughts about a show I don't even watch. But "Tall Tales" was a very fun, lighthearted episode-- perhaps too much so, given the events of "Born Under a Bad Sign." But when you think about it, the lightheartedness just illustrates the Winchester Way. Rule #1 of being a Winchester is "don't talk about being a Winchester," etc. And the boys' relationship is such that they don't really need to talk about it. Dean worries quietly about the chinks in Sam's psychic armor, Sam is a little quieter for a few days, but in the end, they're still Sam and Dean, doing what they do best. Oh, boys.
