I think I may have ruined the kiln at school because I had a brain fart and programmed it to hold at the highest temp for FIFTEEN HOURS instead of fifteen minutes. Shit.
What that means is all the glaze that was in there was at melting temp for at least 9 hours (it still had 6 to go when I arrived at school today)...and it probably melted right off the pots and onto the bottom of the kiln. Shitshitshitshit
I won't know for sure for several hours - I have to wait until the thing cools off enough to open it. Right now it's at 1600 degrees.
