Shopping, limping and knitting
The net doesn't seem to be as slow today as it was yesterday, so that's something. I've been limping a bit today, my knee is still hurting. I don't know if I'll be able to go to church tonight. I may watch the service, or a part of it at least, on TV. It will be just as much Easter, whether I go to church or not, but I will be disappointed to miss it... I may go to a shorter service tomorrow or on Monday instead. We'll see...
Anyway, I'm reading a couple of good books, one of which I hope to finish and tell you about on Monday. And the lace sock is starting to resemble a lace something. If I stay at home tonight, I'll have lots of time to knit it, watching the service. I also played the piano again, and studied some more Latin.
We bought groceries for three days today, and I bought a pair of pants, to wear in the house, because I didn't remember to pack a pair, and had to walk around in jeans all day. I also bought a big, pink teacup to drink from, because my parents don't have cups big enough to suit me. It's a nice cup, with a textured, wawy surface, and I'm happy to have found something that suited me. I also bought two big chocolate Easter eggs, one for mom and one for me (dad doesn't like chocolate or any other sweets particularly). So we're pretty much set for Easter. Have a very happy Easter, all of you, however you celebrate it, and see you tomorrow!
