No place like home
Christ is risen! I had a very happy Easter, all things considered, and now I'm home after visiting a friend of mine. I watched the Easter midnight service on TV, and our black cat, Tosca, deigned to place herself in my lap for about fifteen minutes. It was a comfort, since I missed going to church, to have such good company:).
I didn't manage to log on to LJ at all yesterday, the net connection hit a new low. I spent the day practising, knitting, reading, studying Latin (I finally know the second declination, yay!), and watching TV with my parents. I got some chocolate eggs, that will last me a long time, because I never eat a lot of chocolate. We had mutton for dinner, as it's traditional on Easter Sunday. It's nice to return to my regular menu after Lent.
I missed my regular day for writing about a virtue, so you'll have to wait for next Sunday. I'm also breaking with the Monday entry tradition of writing about the books that rock my world.
