So. Things are awesome. I think.
Have you seen this horse personality test floating around the web? It's pretty cool. Some of the questions are a little too situational. I took this twice and Finn got "The Wild Card" the first time, and "The Goddess" the second time. I can see both, but more of the wild card in him.
Speaking of Finn...
Today he had a totally blond moment. He was sauntering around the ring as I arrived to feed. He ever so nonchalantly picked up a leaf from off the ground to eat it. Except the leaf was still attached to a branch. When he saw the branch, he spooked at it and TOOK OFF galloping, full tilt, around the ring, with the branch... in his mouth. He finally stopped when the leaf he had picked up broke off of the branch. He snorted at it for a second, and scolded it for chasing him like that (that mean branch), and then he went off and pouted in the corner. I picked it up and attempted to console him by showing him that the branch really didn't mean it, and it wasn't scary. But oh no... it was an awful branch and he didn't want to get within 10 feet of it. You should have seen the look he gave me for coming at him with it. Such a look of betrayal. Maybe he does fit that goddess profile a little better.
Something that is not awesome is that Ewok dog got claimed. His owner sucks. I'm not going to lie. I've been hoping he would find his way back here again. He wasn't nearly as excited to see her as he was to see me when I got home from work everyday. Stupid bad dog owners. I'm not posting fliers again if he does come back.
One more thing...
Oh my old white faced girl. You need to stop getting old...
Mama got a new lens, baby.
I loooooooooooove it. It's just a 50mm, 1.8 prime, but it's the best ever. I had one on my old 35mm Minolta (that was my Dad's before me), and I've wanted a digital one for ages. Ken got it for me for my birthday. :)
Heeeeeeey Mom. Can I eat that?
Ken calls these my grandma glasses. I don't care. They kick ass.
I miss him. You know why? I'll show you...
THIS is why. I would round the corner and he would be like this and I would just melt. MELT. Into a puddle of goo. Omg.
Seriously? How could you not love this?
A Shih-tzu is honestly one of the last dogs I would have ever imagined for myself. But I really want him to come back. The other two were even trying to play with him towards the end.
The shamrock still lives.
