Yes, still alive. Isn't that how all of my four posts per year start?
Life is good....just keep plodding along at the same ole, same ole, though. Maybe we need a shake up or something. Looking forward to a couple of weeks of vacation in July visit family in various parts of Canada and the US. Not looking forward to the endless hours of driving though.
Speaking of driving, Stacey is taking her driver's test tomorrow. I'm equal parts excited for her and absolutely, mind-numbingly terrified. The thought of anything happening to her is panic-inducing and she's such a newbie driver and there are so many assholes on the road. We've fixed up the old white caravan for her so at least she'll be driving something big and sturdy.
I need to live in house with no pets for just one day. I love them all but OMG they drive me crazy when I'm trying to have a relaxing day off. Right now Molly (1 year old kitty) is banging the bathroom cabinet door and Lily (2 year old puppy) is barking at her. GRRRR! So NOT relaxing at all.
I'm cold. First time I've said that in a few weeks. I'm also not feeling particularly great. I've been having stomach/possibly women parts issues for a few weeks and I think it's time to see a doctor. Also, my eyesight is getting terrible again and I have a hard time focussing on the words on the computer screen. Considering 90% of my workday is spent in front of a computer, this is not good. I see another appointment in my future for that too.
Tomorrow is summer clothing shopping day in Kelowna with Kristen and Stacey. I'm not a fan of the mall and spending 3+ hours there on my day off with two equally picky, yet polar opposite teenage girls is not my idea of a good time.
School is out as of last Wednesday. Stacey got straight A's...Kristen failed. This is par for the course. Can't believe Stacey is now entering her last year of High School.
Still no movement on the accident settlement. Mediation in Victoria in August. Hopefully this actually pushed things forward. Apparently Discoveries in December didn't do much.
