- It's my day off an I haven't really decided what to do yet. So far I've consumed a cup of coffee and read my flist. Not exactly productive.
- Might get my hair cut today. It desperately needs it. When it was really long it was so much simpler. Now I actually have to maintain it somewhat.
- My kid has amazing taste in music. She is straightening her hair to "Across the Universe" and now "All You Need is Love".
- Same kid also as a driver's license and vehicle. This isn't stressing me out as much as I thought it would, but enough that I'm incapable of sleeping at night until I know she's home.
- I have only 5 days of work left before we leave on vacation and I have a major project I have to have ready in at least draft form. YIKES!
- We are leaving next Monday on a road trip that will see us going through four Canadian Provinces and five US States. There will be layovers (for varying lengths of time) in Disdbury, AB; Plainfield, IL; Blue Island, IL; Sugatuck, MI; Chatham, ON; and Niagara on the Lake, ON. I'm excited but stressed about the rushedness (is that a word?) of it all. Also, there is mega driving involved with a 15 year old and a yappy dog.
- I don't deal well with humidity and mosquitoes. I see both in large quantities in my future. Neither are a big issue here in the interior of BC. It's too hot and dry for mosquitoes generally unless you're right by the water and we get hot but not so much humidity.
- I'm excited to see my Dad who I adore and haven't seen in two years.
- I need to get something accomplised today so I think I'll go shower....maybe after I check facebook. *grins*
PS...I am insanely jealous of everyone going to Azkatraz. Have an amazing time and post lots of photos. I will go see HBP with my daughter, as per tradition, right after work on Wednesday.
