Whatever was going on, Sam knew it was bad. He also knew he should recognize what was happening as it was tugging at the faint shadows of his mind, giving him a little tingle at the base of his skull that said he should know but he couldn't put his finger on it. It was also one of those times that he came to realize just how out of touch with being a hunter he had become in his time of being in the village. Maybe that wasn't true but it almost felt like it.
Maybe it was more that he was worried he couldn't fix it.
Either way, he was hell bent on figuring it out even as he hurried along towards the salvage yard. He figured it had to be one of the safe spots in town considering the set up and he was hoping maybe Dean was there. Maybe his parents. He kept an eye out as he drew close, holding his gun tightly though he was hoping he didn't have to use it. He didn't want to hurt anyone innocent but he would defend himself if he needed to.
