This Could Be Salvation (Arrival; OTA)

Destiny had jumped to FTL, leaving behind any chance of rescuing the team they'd been forced to abandon. Leaving three of her friends, two of her closest friends, stranded in a galaxy so far away there was no chance of them getting back to Earth on their own, with no supplies to speak of, and no guarantee they were even still alive. And TJ was supposed to be gathering people so Colonel Young could break the news.

First, though, she figured she'd see if she could find some pants that would fit. Just over four months pregnant and TJ's uniform pants were starting to feel a little constraining. She'd have to borrow a shirt from someone, too, probably. Her own shirt and jacket were a little tight, too, just barely able to hide her belly, and it wasn't like she could just go buy something.

But when she stepped through the doors of the infirmary, she was suddenly standing on a cobblestone street, surrounded by buildings that were entirely quaint, and most certainly not Destiny. And it was colder than the ship ever was. Naturally, TJ's first thought was to wonder what had happened, how she'd gotten where she was.

Of course, it made sense that it had to do with the communication stones, even if she hadn't used them recently, and a glance down showed her own uniform on her own body. So clearly that wasn't the answer. Which led her to wonder, what exactly was the answer?
